MSOL graduate Laurie Sorensen ‘19 makes CRN’s “100 People You Don’t Know But Should” list
OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary alumna Laurie Sorensen ‘19 was recently selected as one of CRN’s “100 People You Don’t Know But Should” for 2020. The list spotlights some of the organization’s best and brightest people who may not be as visible as channel chiefs or CEOs but are just as important to the partner community.
Sorensen earned her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) from CSM in 2019. CSM’s MSOL degree – which was recently recognized among the top 50 best online degrees nationwide – is a fully online, 30-credit program that can be completed in just one year. The curriculum emphasizes building human capacity, cultivating team leadership, leveraging organizational behavior, and making effective financial decisions.
Like Sorensen, graduates emerge from the program equipped with strong strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills to advance their careers.
Sorensen works as a Learning Architect for CRN. According to her employer, “Sorensen is an instrumental player on ConnectWise’s Education team, working tirelessly with partners to help them build, communicate, maintain and execute plans. She runs workshops and coaching sessions that help partners focus on what they really want to accomplish and how they are going to get it done.”
