New faces and spaces for Enrollment Services
College of Saint Mary’s Walking Woman Welcome Center and Admissions Office is in full swing for the opening of the 2016-17 academic year.
The admissions team officially moved to their new quarters this spring. The move was the final step in the renovations to Mercy Hall, which was built in 1969.
Renovations, which included improving or replacing the mechanical infrastructure, as well as cosmetic changes, began in spring of 2015. Some of the changes included an overhaul of the Dining Room; an update for the former Mercy Hall Meeting Room, which was renamed the Warde Conference Center; and the President’s Dining Room was moved from the second to first floor. The last part of the project was creating a new home for Enrollment Services.
Ground floor space was reconfigured to include a spacious lobby and a dedicated Call Center. It also included a contemporary office area for Enrollment Services personnel, which now include a couple of faces very familiar to the CSM community.
Daniela Rojas ‘15, has a bachelor’s in art and theology. Before joining Admissions, Rojas served as the interim director for Lozier Hall. Rachel Etter ’16, was hired in June after graduating with a Bachelor of Art in Applied Psychology and Human Services. Both are former College of Saint Mary Queen of Hearts.
