Flames now livestreaming games on internet
Flames fans will now be able to watch games from the comfort of their own homes, no matter where in the world they live. All upcoming home games for Flames basketball will now be broadcast. Games held at universities and colleges that also use CSM’s livestreaming platform, Stretch Internet will also be broadcast. The portal can be found at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/saintmaryneb.
“We’re thrilled to be able to provide livestreaming for our home games,” says Emilie Powell, assistant athletic director.
“We’re excited that fans can now have access to Flames Athletics even when they aren’t able to attend in person. Friends and family members of our student athletes can cheer on the Flames from anywhere in the world.”
For now, the games are shown without audio. But future plans include sound and a game commentator. CSM plans to broadcast softball beginning in spring 2017, with volleyball and soccer starting in fall 2017.
